Romeo Motorsports to run Mike Manning Power for the 2001 SKUSA Tour

Romeo Motorsports in Niagara Falls, Ontario has announced today that they will be joining forces with Mike Manning for the 2001-racing season. Romeo Motorsports is the North American importer of Mike Wilson Chassis into North America, and has been developing their shifter program over the past year. This year, The Romeo Motorsports Racing Team will be competing at all of the SKUSA Pro Moto Eastern Tour Events, including the World Finals and the Super Nationals. Also, the team will be racing in the WKA Manufacturer's Cup events and selected SKUSA regional programs. They will be running the ultra fast, Mike Wilson chassis, powered by Mike Manning Motors.

Romeo Motorsports' lead driver Michael Romeo will be heading their campaign in the S1 category. Michael brings almost ten years of karting experience to the plate, and should prove to be an asset to the success of the team. Joining Michael will be Daron Lord and Kim Carpellati, who will also be competing in the S1 class.

Another added bonus for the team will be the presence of Mike Wilson himself, who will be on hand at selected events to help tune the chassis. Gino Romeo, owner of Romeo Motorsports, is very excited about their teams chances for 2001. "I feel that with the Mike Wilson chassis, Mike Manning Power and the added bonus of having Mike Wilson himself tuning the karts, that we will definitely be a force in the 2001 season.
